Why do the colors of my layout on the screen differ from the printed product in the print shop?

Colors usually differ due to an uncalibrated screen - the colors on your computer/tablet/phone look one way because the screen settings are incorrect. They are not set to show an image close to print. The print shop prints accurate colors based on the colors specified in the layout in CMYK encoding.

  • It should be noted that the layout visible in the digital space may not match the scale, so the image obtained in the printed product may differ slightly.
  • Also, the layout printed on one paper or another may affect the color difference. The paper also influences the printing of the product.
